When you are getting married everyone around you, family and friends, wedding magazines & books, and even you, expect the time leading up to the wedding to be so full of joy and ecstasy and the wedding day to be the happiest day of your life.
But, now you might be finding yourself feeling stressed out, very emotional, irritable, and overwhelmed. Why are you feeling this way?

There's nothing wrong with you. Getting married is one of the biggest life-changing events you'll ever experience. It's also a transformation from singlehood to marriage and a rite of passage! It's a big deal!
With the stress of planning a wedding, many brides (and grooms) can experience extreme anxiety which can be expressed in many different ways.
Think of all the beautiful brides that have turned into bridezillas right before your very eyes, without even being aware of it!

Many brides and grooms have cold feet during wedding planning. This can be normal or can be a sign of a problem. Talk to your fiancé about your feelings. And if necessary, a counselor or health professional...

Many couples will experience "wedding jitters", but this is usually a case of feeling overwhelmed with all the planning and everyone's opinions. This is perfectly normal and can be helped by allocating tasks, downtime, talking to your fiancé and friend or family, and resolving issues that come up as they occur.
